Michael has 23 years of experience delivering business advisory, CFO outsourcing, tax preparation & strategy, board of director participation & recruitment, and entrepreneurial services to a diversified client base within various industries across the entire Chicagoland area.

 

He served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for two scrap metal recycling companies, Vice President (VP) of Finance for an industrial and automotive lubricant, blending, packaging, and distribution company (since acquired by a global leader), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Regional Controller, and Senior Accountant for one of the nation’s largest towing and municipal impound facility management companies (since acquired by multiple private equity firms) and General Manager (GM), Senior Accountant, and Treasury Accountant for one of the nation’s largest parking facility management companies (since became a publicly traded company).

 

Some of Michael’s most notable professional achievements include the formation, growth, and sale of an income tax preparation business as well as saving another company more than $500,000 on a union pension, health & welfare, and legal assistance benefits audit.  

 

Michael leverages his own real-world experience, network of current and former entrepreneurs, comprehensive business acumen, and a build-to-sell approach to ensure collaboration with boards, executive members and officers, and management teams, enhances the probability for a successful engagement.     

 

Michael graduated from Saint Xavier University in Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
